Pastor Tim, originally from Toledo, Ohio, graduated from the University of Idaho and Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He began his ministry in Michigan before being called to Bethel Lutheran Church in Northfield and was there for 25 years. In the past couple years, Pastor Tim has been doing interim ministry and will be with us, here at Messiah, as we work through the call process. He and his wife Lisa have twin girls, Madeline and Bronwyn, who are in their junior year of college. Their family has two dogs, Brie and Ginger and many house projects occupy their free time. They like camping in their pop-up and exploring the beauty of God's creation. So far, they have explored 32 states and 9 Canadian provinces.
Jan has been with Messiah since 2008 and she loves being in the office and Sharing the Love of Jesus with God’s people here at Messiah. She grew up in Menomonie, WI (yes, she’s a Packer fan & likes cheese) and attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. She married Cyle Gruver in 2004 and they moved to Saint Peter. Jan worked at Star Tribune in Minneapolis for 22 years in various roles until 2008 – everything from customer service to budget analyst. After leaving Star Tribune, Jan also worked part-time as a Financial Worker for Nicollet County and as Office Manager for the Arts Center of Saint Peter. When she’s not working, Jan loves to spend time with her family, read, fish, canoe, hike, play cards, travel, and to make jewelry and pottery. It’s hard to fit it all in!

Amy has been working at Messiah since 2021. She enjoys working both in the main office as well as in the education office, assisting members of the congregation and Sunday School families. Amy is married to her husband, Scott. They have adult twin daughters - McKenna and McKayla, and a teenage son - Nicholas. They also have a black lab named Dakota. When not at church, Amy loves to read, spend time with her family and friends, and travel.
Cindy has been serving at Messiah since 2017 and enjoys leading the band, directing the choir, and engaging the congregation in singing praises to our Lord for worships! She welcomes anyone to join in singing with the choir and or letting her know of any instrumentalists that would like to participate! What a privilege to serve with all the disciples of Messiah!
